Motion Graphics are fast becoming an integral part of social media. They capture attention and maintain interest. Motion Graphics have lots of varied uses. They can be used for explainer videos, building a brand story, explaining a service or showcasing a product.
Motion Graphics are perfect for sharing on social media and can be edited into multiple animated gifs for social media ‘soundbytes’.
The process of creating a successful motion graphic needs to be carefully thought out, preferably in the following stages:
- A clear creative brief
- A script
- A storyboard
- A design style
- A voice over
- Animation
- Sound design.
The most important rule of thumb, timewise, is to keep the graphic tight and ideally it should be no longer than 90 seconds.
