Congrats! Your new brand has been designed. You have the logo you’ve always wanted but now what? Your new logo is only a single part of your branding. The logo alone cannot carry the full visual identity of your business.
It needs to be applied to all of your communications. We’ve collated this handy brand checklist of what you should receive from your designer on the completion of a branding project.
There are the basic visual components as listed below in the Essential List and then there are the Additional Items which will help to create a full and cohesive set of graphics for your business.
Once you are sure of your brand messaging and requirements, make a wish list of items you need to create your perfect visual branding collateral.
Your logo package should include the following essentials:
Logo Styles
Your logo needs to be supplied in the following styles:
Full colour logo
Vertical logo
Landscape Logo
Reverse logo (white out)
Single colour logo
File Formats
Your logo needs to be supplied in formats suitable for print and for online use. So each logo should be supplied as a vector logo (suitable for print and can be enlarged to any size without losing any quality) We supply a Postscript file .eps for print purposes. For online use we supply the logo options as both JPEG files and .png files. (transparent background)
